The Eucharist is the heart of Catholic life. The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the priest in distributing Holy Communion during Mass and may also bring the Eucharist to those who are sick or unable to attend church.

Through this ministry, members help ensure that more people can receive the Body of Christ with reverence and care.

How Members Serve

Members may serve by:

• Assisting in distributing Holy Communion during Mass

• Bringing Communion to the sick and homebound

• Supporting reverent Eucharistic celebrations
